My name is George Potamianos, I am from Kefalonia and born in 1980. Since my family is one of the oldest on the island I feel that Kefalonia is something more than just home!I would describe myself as an adventurer, that my whole life combines the love for nature and activities. I am one of the luckiest to be able to make my passion my job.

In the past i have served in the Greek Army Special Forces as a mountain Ranger and been trained as an army medic. I have also served the Fire department of Kefalonia as a forest fireman and fire engine driver.

Since 2008 I am the owner on Outdoor Kefalonia Activities in Kefalonia and Ithaca , running outdoor activities such as sea kayaking trips, 4×4 Jeep safari trips, etc.Since I have paddled all the near sea routes on all the around islands and the Adriatic sea ,Kefalonia to Venice in 34 days , and in 2018 paddled from Kefalonia to Istanbul completing in 60days.

For me sea kayaking is my way to observe the outside and “my inside” wold as it gives the possibility to slow down a bit in life.

My goal is to influence my clients to see the nature beauty of the island and experience Kefalonia as a true local.
